Good Morning to our families,
There is a bustle of activity going on in all classes today. Some classes are having buddy days, some are dancing and painting with ice cubes, some are playing with penguins in the water table with ice cubes and all are working hard on Valentine’s presents for parents. The sound in CWG-WWS is the most wonderful sound with all the chatting and laughter going on.
I have attached a flyer for our fundraiser at Margarita’s on Thursday Feb. 8. Remember that this is for dine in and take out. Just as long as you show them the flyer, we will receive 20% of the sales. I’ll be there with my family around 6 and hope to see lots of our families there. Thank you ahead of time for taking time out of your busy schedules to help out with this fundraiser.
Valentine’s celebrations will take place next week as follows:
- Tuesday 2/13
- Mrs. Kupchik’s class
- Miss Meghan/Miss Catherine’s 3 year olds
- Wednesday 2/14
- Miss Meghan/Miss Catherine’s 4 year olds
- Miss Angie’s class
- Mrs. Murphy’s class
- Mrs. Louis’ class
If you have signed up to bring in some goodies, please drop them off in the morning during carpool.
Also remember that in observance of President’s Day the school will be closed on Monday February 19 and our February break will take place from 2/26-3/2. We will resume school on 3/5.
We thank families who have been so kind to send in items on our wish list. This truly helps us out in the classrooms.
For a brief look ahead, events scheduled for the month of March include:
- Scholastic Book Fair – week of March19-23
- Spring Open House – Thursday March 22
During the week of Feb. 18 you will be receiving a Developmental Profile on your child. This contains various skills that we are looking for in your child’s development. In March we will have Parent Teacher Conferences. We will send further information about this in the beginning of March.
Well I think that’s it for now. As always thank you for letting us spend time with your beautiful children. We definitely are the lucky ones.
Warm regards,
Chris
