Happy 2018

Hello all,

Well, the end of December and beginning of our New Year have certainly brought us some variety of weather. We have gone from 6 degrees up to 50 degrees within a short period of time. However with this warmer weather comes the opportunity to take the children outside for lots of snow play. Take a peek at our facebook page to see all of the wonderful pictures of the children playing in the snow. What unbelievable fun they have had, making snow angels, sliding down snow hills, jumping in the snow piles and we are hearing lots and lots of squeals of laughter. This is the perfect combination of good snow and warmer weather to play in it.

We have also started our Creative Movement classes once a week, with Miss Rebecca. She has set up obstacle courses, played games with the parachute and really has gotten the children moving. We will continue with these classes through March. This is a great way to get the children using those muscles and works on their gross motor skills.

We are currently booking tours for the 2018-2019 school year. Please give me a call at 882-1041 to book a tour and I will be happy to show you around our school. On this website look at our Programs and Tuition sections to get an idea of all the programs that we offer.

We look forward to a wonderful month in January including activities that go along with our author of the month, Jan Brett who writes and illustrates stunning books such as The Mitten and The Hat. The children will also be learning all about bears and hibernation, even making a “bear cave” to play in. Learning about snowballs, snowflakes, winter, polar bears and a highlight of a Teddy Bear picnic will also take place at our school this month.

We wish you all a Happy New Year and a wonderful 2018.

Warm regards,

Chris
