Except for the weather, March was a wonderful month, especially at CWG-WWS. Between Open House complete with a campsite, the Scholastic Book Fair, field trips to Margaritas for our Kindergarten students, dance classes, art displays, Pajama Day, Beach Day and Wacky Wednesday our classrooms were chocked full of activities and excitement. What fun!!!
April promises to be another month filled to the brim with creativity and learning. Tonight is our fundraiser at Margaritas and tomorrow is the 4 year old & Kindergarten field trip to the See Science Museum. That’s a great start to our month.
Our 3 year old students have started a unit on pets and today was Dog day. The children had so much fun with all of the “dogs” in the building, grooming them and taking them to the vet. They will go on to learn about cats and guinea pigs.
Look for beautiful artwork from the 4 year old and K unit on Eric Carle. What a fantastic illustrator he is with wonderful stories to go along with the pictures.
Our Time to Clay event will take place on 4/10 & 4/11. Lots of painting will be going on. Can’t wait to see how they all turn out.
The Nashua Public Library will be hosting the Early Childhood Fair on Sunday April 9. There will be lots and lots of free activities. Come and visit our table if you attend.
So as you can see, the children will be very busy learning and playing this month.
I wish you all a very Happy Spring. Let’s all hope for some lovely sunny weather.
Best regards,
Chris
