Well everyone has settled back into the routine of school. The children are enjoying all of the snowflake, mitten, snow and Jan Brett activities Again we have lots of paint and glitter filling our rooms.
I want to remind you of a couple of dates during the month of January:
- Friday 1/13 in addition to Martin Luther King, we are also showing our support for our Patriots. If your child has a tee shirt or sweatshirt to wear for the Patriots, that would be great or they can just wear some red, white and blue.
- Friday 1/13 Registration forms are due back. Please make sure to send these in with your choice of class. We are receiving quite a few phone calls for tours and we want to make sure that our existing students and family members get first preference. Open registration starts on Monday 1/16.
- Monday 1/16 school is closed in honor of Martin Luther King
- All Wednesdays and Thursdays Miss Rebecca will be in to do dance classes.
- Week of 1/22 Parent/Teacher conferences will take place. Please refer to the January newsletter for class dates for conferences. I have attached the newsletter for your convenience.
- 1/19 and 1/20 are blue days. If your child has some blue, please have them wear it to reinforce the color day.
- Thurs. 1/16 for our 3 year old students, is Teddy Bear Picnic day. Your child can bring in their favorite Teddy Bear to spend the day with them at school.
- Remember to include snow pants, boots, gloves and hats in your child’s bag. If the weather is predicted to be above 32 degrees, chances are we will have the children go outside and play in the snow. Please label clothing items, so we make sure your child takes home the correct gear!
I think that is it for now. Again, we are happy to be back at school and the children definitely seem to be too.
Warm regards,
Chris
