November is going by far too quickly. The children are working hard on their Turkey and Thanksgiving projects, some of which they will be wearing at our Thanksgiving feasts. As I sit here in my office, laughter and chatter is heard throughout the school. What a delightful sound.
I want to remind you of a couple of things going on in November:
We have an ongoing collection of food items for the Nashua Soup Kitchen. If you would like to contribute, please just put items in your child’s bag or hand them to us at carpool. Thank you for any donations you can make.
We are also collecting gift cards for the Nashua Children’s Home. Last year, I believe we brought over close to 60 gift cards for the children at the NCH. Think of the look on their faces when they receive these for a holiday gift. Cards may also can be sent in, in your child’s folder.
Remember we will be having our Thanksgiving Feasts on November 21 & 22. Invitations will be coming home next week, with your child’s date and time. If you have signed up for food or paper goods, you can drop them off the morning of the feast.
Tomorrow we are closed in honor of our Veterans, and we will closed Nov.23-25 for Thanksgiving.
Believe it or not Registration forms for next year will be coming home in late November or early December. Class offerings will be outlined for you to choose which program you would like for next year.
Have a wonderful long weekend. See you next week.
Warmly,
Chris
