Happy October.  The school is full of fall foliage, pumpkins,farms, farm animals, fire safety and much, much more.  The fall is a great season, when the children are busy making all kinds of colorful projects and today some of the children were even playing with some farm animals in the mud.  What fun and such a great sensory experience.

The following are dates you will want to note on your calendar:

     *Monday October 17 Our 4 year old classes and Kindergarten class will be venturing out for a field trip.

     * Thursday October 20 is our Fall Open House. Times for each class are listed in the newsletter.  All kinds of artwork will be displayed and teachers will talk to you about a typical day in the life of your preschooler.  Refreshments will be served in the dining hall of the church after you tour your child’s classroom.

     *Saturday October 22 is the annual Fall Festival.  The PAWWS group at CWG-WWS is putting together a Fall Festival that will be filled with activities for family fun.  An invitation to purchase tickets was sent home earlier this week.  The cost is $20 per family and that enables you and your children to participate in lots of fun activities.  The staff will also be there, maybe even running some of the games.  If you would like to attend, please make sure that you send your form back with $20 by October 14.  Tickets will be coming home to you before the festival.  When you fill out the ticket form, please let us know how many adults and children will be coming from your family. Can’t wait to see you all there.

     *Tuesday 10/25 and Wednesday 10/26 will be the days that the Firetrucks from Station #1 will be visiting our school.  The children always love being able to climb aboard the firetrucks.

So as you can see we have an extremely busy month ahead of us.  We’ve had a wonderful start to our year with loads of fun going on every day. Make sure to read through the newsletter for even more events going on.
